These are the possible reasons and solutions
| The stop up switch is not releasing. Inspect it |
| The relays on the PCB board that tell it to stop pulling up are stuck closed - change PCB board |
| In most cases the Up Down fuse will have blown protecting the motor - it will need to be replaced |
