As a franchisee, you have purchased the right to use the Kiwikrane brand to operate your business in accordance with the guidelines and standards established by the Franchisor.

The Kiwikrane brand is the result of many years of hard work, experience, trial and error, investment and significant expense. We are proud of the reputation the brand has established and, as Franchisor, we have a responsibility to protect that reputation.

Protecting the Kiwikrane brand is important not only for the Franchisor, but for every franchisee who operates under the Kiwikrane name. The actions of one franchisee can affect how customers, site owners and the public perceive the entire Kiwikrane network.

For this reason, the use of the Kiwikrane name, logo, branding and other intellectual property must be carefully controlled.

Use of Franchise Area Specific Logo

The Franchisor authorises the Franchisee to use the provided Kiwikrane Franchise Area Specific logo, which incorporates the Kiwikrane logo with the Franchisee’s authorised Franchise Region or Regions displayed underneath.

The Franchisee may use this approved Franchise Area Specific logo on its own:

• Letterheads
• Business forms
• Electronic accounting forms
• Clothing
• Email signatures
• Website or Social Media Account
• Site Signage

Any other use of the Franchise Area Specific logo must be authorised by the Franchisor before use.

Use of Generic Kiwikrane Logo

The generic Kiwikrane logo and branding are controlled by the Franchisor.

You must obtain approval from the Franchisor before using the generic Kiwikrane brand in any way that is not part of the official stationery, apparel, signage or other branded materials supplied or approved by the Franchisor.

In particular, you must not establish or operate a website, social media account, online listing, advertising platform or other digital presence using the generic Kiwikrane name, logo or branding without the prior written approval of the Franchisor.

For the avoidance of doubt, you may establish and operate websites, social media accounts and other digital platforms using your approved Franchise Area Specific logo and your authorised Kiwikrane Franchise Region name, provided that the use complies with the Franchisor’s current brand guidelines.

The Franchisor may require that any proposed use of the Kiwikrane brand complies with current brand guidelines and may require changes to, or withdrawal of, any material that does not meet those standards.

The principle is simple: the Kiwikrane brand belongs to the entire network, and every franchisee has a responsibility to protect its reputation.
