Not declaring all money is often a temptation for cash businesses, but it constitutes fraud. It also opens up the risk of the whole industry coming under scrutiny for the sake of one or two operators.

Please be 100% ethical in dealing with finances, and if you choose not to, you're basically saying this dollar amount is what your integrity is worth.

Not declaring cash will also affect your resale value, because, for example, if your business was valued at 3 times its profit, then every dollar you keep will cost you three.

We consider not banking your cash or providing dishonest figures as a serious breach of the franchisee agreement.
