Stock levels - Ideal quantities
It is important that you maintain the same stock level on the machine at each service and it is absolutely essential it is topped up to the correct level at each collection. This ensures you are aware of the correct payout at collection. The machines should be full, but not so full that products get dragged down the chute or bounce off other prizes. The level should be below the top of the prize chute, but above the bottom of the front door. Different types of products fit differently in machines. Use the prize meter readings at each service or collection to work out the quantity to put in machine. The following are some guidelines on stock levels. Try to stick to these, but if you think they are too empty or full due to the size of the particular prize, increase or decrease by 5.We don’t want people to be cheap and save money by not filling machines to the correct level. Even filling the bottom with cheap stock to bulk it up detracts a lot. Not maintaining machines to a full stock level after each collection is considered a breach of the franchise agreement

Stock Levels - Ideal Quantities
One of the key differences between Kiwikrane machines and those of our competitors is presentation—our machines are well maintained and cared for, while many competitors’ machines appear neglected.
In addition to regular cleaning and maintenance, maintaining an appropriate stock level is essential. Machines should be fully stocked at the end of each service or collection. Well-presented machines build trust with customers, encourage play, and clearly differentiate us from competitors.
As outlined in the Kiwikrane Stocking Standard (Notice – 4 December 2017), the normal minimum stock level should be no lower than the bottom of the glass door.
It is equally important to allow sufficient space above the plush to enable prizes to fall cleanly from the claw as it ascends. Overfilling a machine can be just as detrimental as underfilling it. If the machine is too full, prizes may drop from the top of the gantry, creating a perception that the player has been treated unfairly. This negatively impacts customer trust and reduces the likelihood of repeat play.
While it may be tempting to overfill machines to reduce service visits, this ultimately compromises the player experience and can lead to reduced revenue over time.
If you wish to reduce the number of prizes in a machine, the use of filler balls is an effective and recommended solution.
Note:
● There are a number of different standard cranes, some with a deeper or shallower base. The Standard number guide below is for the more modern machines, not the older machines.
● Each toy has different characteristics and as such the below is only a guide. Please allow plus or minus 10 toys. You will get to know your cranes over time.
