Icon manual access;
A very useful idea is to have this manual appear on your smartphone or tablet as an icon - just like an app. It's really just a quick way of accessing a website (instead of typing address into a browser). Here's how you do it:
- View the manual website on the device you want the icon to appear. To get the link you could email the link below to yourself and open it on your device.
- If you are not permanently logged into Gmail on your device you will be prompted to login to Gmail to view the manual website.
- Once you can see the manual on screen, find the option to open in Safari, or Chrome, or the browser on your device.
- Once opened in that browser you will find a box with an arrow pointing out of it - click on it and select "Add to Home Screen".
You will find it very useful having an easy access button on a portable device.
