Founded in 2000 by Cliff Hopkins, Kiwikrane has been successfully franchising since 2001. Today, approximately 2000 machines operate as part of the Kiwikrane franchise network across New Zealand.

Franchise Directors Cliff Hopkins and Paul Hydes bring extensive combined experience in the industry. Kiwikrane is one of the few home-grown New Zealand franchises to have successfully taken its model overseas, establishing Koalakrane in Australia before selling the business to refocus on the New Zealand market.
