INSTRUCTIONS FOR NOTE PROGRAMMER

(Device supplied from Kiwikrane Support Centre and used when there is a New Zealand Dollar currency change)

• Turn machine on
• Plug telephone socket type connector into note reader
• Light on programmer will be flashing green
• Hold button on end of note programmer in for more than 3 seconds
• Release button when it flashes purple
• Wait a minute or so while program downloads flashing purple
• When it is nearly finished purple light speeds up
• When it has downloaded programmer light is steady green
• Push button on side once only and wait
• After 3 seconds or so the note reader makes a noise and light changes to yellow
• Feed calibration card in and it will go in and out – remove when it stops
• Calibration card goes in with the mostly white end in first
• Turn machine off remove programmer plug
• Turn on and it should reset note reader so it flashes green
• Test with some notes
• Record as test credits
• Done

Instructions

1. Turn Machine Off
2. Plug Note Programmer into the side of the Note Reader
3. Have L1 and Normal Switches on
4. Turn Machine on
5. Switch to L3
6. L3 light should be solid and L4 light flashing
7. Press Start
8. Red light will come on. Wait and it will start to flash as it downloads programme file
9. When Red Light turns to solid orange, press Start Button again and wait
10. Wait until solid orange light comes back on
11. Insert Calibration Note
12. Remove Calibration Note
13. Press Start and L3 & L4 lights will turn solid green
14. Move switch to L2
15. Press start
16. Unplug
17. Test
