Wiring Loom changing/inspecting?

The wiring loom in the machine is the bundle of wires that goes from the PCB board to the gantry. Sometimes a wire will break within the loom, and you sometimes need to replace it or resolder it.

  1. From the PCB board the gantry plug goes to the gantry fuse board in plug
  2. From the gantry fuse board "out plug" the loom goes up the back left corner of the crane and comes out of a hole at the top
  3. The loom then has 2 plugs which divide into 2 areas - one does the backwards forwards motor, stop left, stop front and stop back switches
  4. The other branch goes to the left right unit and has wires for the left right and up down motors as well as the claw, and the stop down and stop up switches

To change a complete loom due to wear and tear - first take the corner pieces off the back left corner of the machine. Unplug the loom at the fuse board (gantry plug) and above the backwards forward unit (2 plugs). You should be able to thread the 2 plugs through the hole in the frame at the top and completely remove and replace it.
