In a clean themed machine it is OK to put one alternative prizes in a different genre or size located near the prize chute so that the perception is that it is easy to win. These may be items you are clearing or they may represent perceived value for money. Do not add more than one with the main prizes or you will have the beginnings of a jumble sale. You will be surprised how quickly you can clear obsolete stock if you put one on the top of every machine every week. Just make sure it is not too big or small to be won by the claw on hard grab.

The below photo shows two different types of items in the same machine, ie plush and balls. However, because the teaser toy is a plush and the claw settings are set up for a ball the toy is able to be won very easily (the object of having a teaser toy). You can't put a ball teaser toy in with plush.
