Setting the frequencies*
We believe strongly that a fair payout to players is essential to the success and survival of the franchise. We believe a payout of 30% is ideal. In order to achieve a payout of 30%, your backup prize assist frequency settings must be:
(Price of prize + $1 freight max) / 0.6
This ensures that if a player does not win on skill within a reasonable dollar input, the machine assists a win.
Therefore, a $15 ball = $15 divided by 0.6 = 25. Check that out the other way: $15 divided by 50 (25 X $2) = 0.3 - or 30%.
Happy players = repeat business, and we wish Koalakrane to have a reputation of fair payouts throughout the country. Franchisees who purposely decrease payout in order to increase profit are tarnishing our brand and are creating a false economy. You may do well for a week or two, but people need to win, so we need to stick to something that works. You should report frequency (win) settings in the software. If we notice consistently low payouts on any particular machine, we will ask you to address it. If we find any machines where the frequency setting has deliberately been set to lower than the above formula, it will be considered a breach of the franchise agreement.
