Machine Visiting & Collection
Kiwikrane aims to be the industry leader in our field. To maintain this standard, machines must be merchandised and serviced frequently.
Service Frequency (Mandatory)
All machines are required to be serviced weekly (unless this has been talked through with the Support Office and an exemption has been granted).
There will be occasions where some sites are geographically isolated or do not generate sufficient revenue to justify weekly visits. If you have machines in this category, please speak with the Support Office for an exemption.
Collection Frequency (Flexible, with minimum standards)
While servicing must occur weekly, collection frequency may vary depending on risk and location. For example:
A crane in a high-risk environment (such as a 24-hour unattended laundromat) should be collected weekly.
A crane in a highly controlled and visible environment (such as a restaurant in a prominent location) may be suitable for monthly collection.
All cranes must be collected at least monthly.
This is important because the software calculates performance data from the last calendar day of each month. To ensure accurate reporting and meaningful month-to-month comparisons, collections should be planned as close to the end of the month as practical.
Failing to do this will distort your monthly figures, making performance tracking less reliable and potentially impacting business valuation when selling your franchise.
Record Keeping (Mandatory)
To maintain accurate records of machine visits, a CoinOp transaction must be completed whenever a machine is:
Serviced (stock added), and/or
Collected.
This ensures we retain a complete and auditable history of machine activity.
