On jumbo and larger machines you can put the power cord in the top or underneath depending on what suits the location. Sometimes there is power coming out of the floor and sometimes out of the roof. You need to select bottom or top on the switch inside the back of the machine to the left of the PCB board. The switch has 3 positions, the middle position being off. The preference is to plug the machine in from the top to keep the cord off the floor.
