Getting the claw play right
Your goal is to get the machine fun to play. Here are the four possibilities for setting the voltages
| Claw Sequence | VR1 | VR2 | EFFECTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | Too low | Too low | Claw will slip off prize with no effect, not a good look. |
| B | Too low | Too high | Same as A-VR2 being high makes no difference as it won't pick up. |
| C | Too hight | Too low | Claw will pick up strongly and release strontly, a deliberate release. |
| D | Too hight | Too hight | Claw will pick up stronly and hold on, winning far too often. This is the primary cause of high payouts; not goof or you |
| E | Just right | Just right | Claw will dislodge prize and start to lift. Prize will slip out smoothy as it is lifting. It may win occasionally on these settings. |
When you visit the machine it is extremely important that the player has a good experience. The following two play experiences will leave players feeling strongly disappointed:
- Claw slips off prize without dislodging it when it is grabbed
- Claw picks up strongly and claw obviously opens at top, dropping the prize out
