2001 – Kiwikrane started in New Zealand, founded by Cliff Hopkins.

2003 – Paul Hydes who became a director and shareholder in Kiwikrane.

2008 – Kiwikrane completely covered NZ with 50 franchises and 800 machines.

2009 – Sister company Koalakrane launched in Australia.

2020 – Koalakrane was sold so Paul and Cliff could develop opportunities in the New Zealand Market.  

2026 – Kiwikrane has approximately 2000 machines as part of it’s franchise network.

Cliff Hopkins and Paul Hydes are the shareholders of Kiwikrane, and are also shareholders and directors of  www.cardcentral.co.nz  and  www.sportscentral.co.nz .  Thee are complementary non franchised businesses.
