Claw - does not raise or lower*
These are the possible reasons and solutions
| Check string is not tangled - if so untangle it, reset the machine, then check UD fuse |
| Up Down (UD) fuse may be blown - check this first and replace with a 3A 20mm fuse |
| Less likely but possible, the PCB board may be faulty - usually a relay that controls the Up Down Motor has blown. |
| Less likely but possible, the motor may need replacing |
| Less likely but possible, a broken wire in loom - inspect loom by removing caterpillar clips |
| If there is a loud graunching noise, the Up Down winding axle cog is not engaging with the Up Down motor spindle - send for repair |
