While our policy is that you are an owner operator, it is likely at some point you may need to employ someone. You may be away for a period of time on holiday,a bereavement or have an operation for example. Our suggestion is that you get someone you know well in advance to help you with this If you employ someone you don't know please seek legal advice with structuring their employment agreement and taxation issues as well as work cover and any insurance required. We don't give you advice or take liability for your employment issues if you engage other people to run machines. There are numerous issues to consider. Anyone you deal with, whether it be family or friends must be cautioned to keep the figures and information about the business confidential. If you are away for less than a month a good idea is to teach them to check on and top up machines but leave collections.
