PCB Board - plug destinations


The plugs that come off the perimeter of the PCB board all have specific destinations. If you have a fault with a specific part of a machine it is often helpful to be able to check that the plug for this part is plugged in properly amd does not have a loose wire. This page guides you on which plug goes where on the standard and jumbo machines.

STANDARD MACHINE PLUGS

J1 Joystick and drop button
J2 Credit display
J7 Coin and prize meters
J8 Coin mechs and note readers
J10 Prize sensor -- the little plug in the corner (siren if disconnected)
J6 Volume and music
J5 Voltage adjustments
JPI SOLID WHITE Power into pcb from power supply
J4 BIG METAL Gantry connector -- to all overhead motors, switches and claw


JUMBO MACHINES

PLUG WHERE DOES IT GO TO?
JP2 Power input of 24V and 48V for motors and claws.
JP11 Prize sensor. Be careful not to put on JP12 which is next to it and the same size.
JP15 Joystick, drop button, tilt sensor, drop button light.
JP23 Speaker and volume control knobs.
JP3 Power input of 12V and 5V for pcb board and power all other 12V devices on machine eg coin mech, credit display, LCD screen, speakers.
JP20 LCD display control.
JP6 Coin mechs and note readers.
JP7 Extra coin mechs if used.
JP19 Connected to LCD display
JP16 Connected to credit display.
JP5 Coin meters and prize meters.
JP1 To gantry via fuse board.
